And in this weeks "Where 'da hell you been?" files, Mya is back after a hiatus with her new single Paradise, or is she? This song, penned by Ne-yo (hence the MJ sample from "The Girl Is Mine"), is the first single from her forthcoming album Sugar and Spice which is currently set to only be released in Japan for now (12.8.08). Now I know Mya had some label issues, she left Motown after the minimalized release of Liberation but it looks like the Japanese give her more love. The Japanese market has always had more appreciation for American pop singers so I can't blame her. Still, this is a nice single and I'm hoping this album does better than her last few. She's one of those artists that puts out hot singles, but the albums leave a lot to be desired. Ah well, at least she still looks good...
