When Diddy first disbanded Danity Kane, I felt bad for some of the girls in the group. Namely, Aundrea, Dawn, Shannon and D. Woods. And if you don't have Welcome to the Dollhouse you are REALLY missin out on one of the hottest albums of 2008!! It's not that I don't think Aubrey is talented; I mean come on, we saw her audition. Some part of me wonders though if she wanted to get ousted from the group so she could be more liberated.
"Liberating": that's the word she used to describe her recent Playboy photo shoot. I'd use this phrase: "potential FAIL". It seems the last few months Aubrey's been pulling all types of publicity stunts so that someone would shine a little spotlight over her way - from the gay rumors to her photoshoot with the infamous nude mag, Aubrey's grasping at straws to keep the electric eyes blinking at her. I'm guessing the next logical step is a little legal trouble... I, for one, thought she deserved to get booted out of the group. She was disrespectful to Diddy by undermining his authority and questioning his actions (*ahem*, he IS the boss...), and disrespectful to her fellow group members with her lack of concern for how her image reflects on the entire group - a group that she would be nothing without. She's allegedly working on a solo record, but if she doesn't prove her musical ability beyond these stunts, her Playboy shoot may be the beginning of the end for her. In the finale for Making The Band, it seemed that she was on a mission to disprove Diddy's impression of her... right now, she's not helping her case. She is the wild child, she is promiscuous, and she will do anything for a piece of the limelight. Aubrey, my dear... sit down...

I'm gonna check for her pics online, I sure won't buy the issue and waste bread. This chick is skanky though and she's making money off of it, she'll be a nobody again VERY soon !

Kinda sad DK broke up. They actually were pretty talented for a girl group created via talent show. Problem was, I could never tell what Diddy's objective was. I mean, I knew he wanted to sell records, but it also seemed he was content to keep them as reality tv stars vs. breaking away once the fanbase was built in.
Think the constant cameras started feeding egos - Aubrey - and rest of crew, yeah lookin at you Dawn and D Woods. The only two who seemed focused on the music/group at all times were Shannon/Drea
Welcome to the Dollhouse was pretty hot - but they'll never survive without each other at least not mainstream success. Oh and Aubrey, she needs to STFU. Went through the greatest metamorphis, but someday (soon) she'll realize poppin off at the mouth and stripping is only going to hold people's attention for so long...
