INDIE ARTIST: Winston Warrior – Elevator

Posted by on Apr 26, 2011

Heads up to my R&B/soul music fans: I was in ATL recently gettin’ you guys all some exclusives, u know how I do, and I met a new artist that I thought you guys should hear. Winston Warrior is a singer/songwriter with a very mellow vibe and a sound that’s very reminiscent of Eric Benet and Maxwell. I listened to his album Lifeology 101 and it’s definitely got some tracks I’d keep in rotation, most notably Tuck U In, Fragile, Bad 4 U and the single in the video below, entitled Elevator. The album has a cool vibe to it, so if you’re into some great soul music, check this guy out and click here to download his album! And LEAVE SOME FEEDBACK to let him know you’re feelin the new song Elevator

I miss true R&B; soulful voices and songs about love. After hearing Winston, I hope this is the new trend in R&B. His voice is pure and his performance was captivating. I can’t wait to see and hear more.

I love the song, love the whole CD. Winston’s voice gives me chills and I get a huge smile on my face whenever I hear him sing. If you don’t already have a copy of Lifeology 101, you owe it to yourself to grab one NOW. It will touch your soul, get into your bones and make you move.

In the sea of misogynistic lyrics and double entendres that comprise most popular music today, Winston Warrior’s CD, “Lifeology 101,” provides a calming presence. His voice, the music…reminds me of what R&B used to be and gives me hope of what it can become again. His is a great CD.
